OVERVIEW We run a faceless personal finance YouTube channel covering investing, wealth building, money psychology, and smart money decisions. All scripts and AI voiceover audio are written and provided to you. Your role is purely production: turn a script + voiceover into a finished, polished, publish-ready video plus thumbnail. We are hiring an experienced, skilled 2D animator/editor for a long-term, ongoing relationship — someone who takes creative ownership and consistently delivers high-quality, polished work, not a one-off gig. If you deliver consistent quality on time, this becomes stable, recurring monthly work. THE VIDEO STYLE WE NEED (read carefully) Clean, original 2D illustrated explainer animation. Specifically: - A simple, consistent illustrated host/character in a flat modern vector style that appears across all our videos (we build this character once and reuse it). - Infographic motion graphics for every teaching moment: animated charts, bar/line graphs, comparison panels, growing numbers, simple labeled diagrams. This is where clarity matters most — we explain real finance concepts, and the visuals must be accurate and easy to follow. - Smooth scene transitions, subtle motion, light B-roll only where it adds value. - Bold, clean on-screen captions synced to the voiceover. - Background music and basic sound design. Think clear, professional, educational, and visually calm — not flashy hype editing. The goal is that a viewer understands a money concept and trusts the channel. WHAT WE DO NOT WANT - No artwork that imitates "Family Guy," "Simpsons," or any other copyrighted TV/film cartoon style. All artwork must be original. This is a strict requirement — it protects the channel's monetization. - No AI photo-realistic talking-head hosts. - No generic slideshow editing with stock images and no real animation. WORKFLOW (simple and fixed) 1. We send you the finished script and the ElevenLabs voiceover audio file (MP3). 2. You produce the full video: illustrated host scenes, infographic inserts, captions, music, sound design, transitions. 3. You self-review the video against our checklist before submitting (see Standards below). 4. You deliver a final MP4 (1080p, 16:9) plus a thumbnail (1280x720). You do not write scripts or generate voiceover. Production only. DELIVERABLES & VOLUME - Video length: typically 8 to 12 minutes. - Cadence: approximately 2 finished videos per week, ongoing. We prioritize quality over raw volume — a great video beats two rushed ones. - One thumbnail per video, high-contrast and curiosity-driven, consistent with our channel look. COMPENSATION - This is an ongoing monthly retainer role — approximately 8 - 10 videos per month (2,3 per week, 8 to 12 minutes each). The budget shown is the MONTHLY retainer, not a per-video price. - We begin with one paid test video so both sides can confirm the fit before committing to the ongoing monthly arrangement. - We believe in mutual growth. Your rate will be reviewed and increased after the first 3 months of consistent, on-time delivery and will continue to grow as the channel grows. The right person is not stuck at the starting rate. - We are open to discussing your rate based on the quality of your portfolio demonstrates. TOOLS & TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS - Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro (or equivalent professional toolset) - Ability to design and animate original 2D vector characters and infographic elements (Illustrator or equivalent a strong plus). - Experience syncing edits and animation to AI voiceover (ElevenLabs or similar). - Reliable computer and internet capable of rendering and uploading 1080p video on schedule. - Comfortable working from a written script and a style guide we provide. OUR STANDARDS (what "good" means here) - Quality: clean animation, correct and legible infographics, consistent character and brand style across every video. - Timely delivery: you hit the agreed deadline for each video without being chased. If something will be late, you tell us in advance. - Self-review before submitting: every video must be checked by you before delivery for caption typos, audio sync, infographic accuracy, render quality, and correct export settings. We should rarely have to send revisions for basic errors. - Communication: proactive, clear updates. You flag questions early rather than guessing. - Creative ownership: you treat the channel like it's yours and suggest improvements. THE RELATIONSHIP This is a long-term, ongoing role with steady monthly volume for the right person.
